Our system of regular work objectives and appraisals allows all members of staff to have regular one-to-one meetings with their line manager, and any training requirements will be assessed as an outcome from these discussions.

Training has to be carried out in an appropriate environment with qualified trainers (internal or external) and directed by one's line manager to ensure that it is suitable for the individual in question and it will benefit them and add value to their department.
